The Brewer High School Lady Bears Softball Team finished their season as the UIL 5A Division 2 State Runner Up after losing 6-5 to #1 ranked Lake Creek. WSISD invites the community to celebrate the Lady Bears' history-making season during a Community-wide Celebration in the Brewer High School gym at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 4.

All White Settlement Youth Association and Select Teams are encouraged to attend and wear their jerseys, and all others are encouraged to wear a Brewer Softball or Brewer shirt. 

The event will include:

• State Tournament highlights and videos

• Band, Cheer and Honeycomb Drill Team officer performances

• Recognition of the players, coaches and support staff

• Team awards and season accomplishments

• Reflections on one of the greatest seasons in Brewer Softball history

A Clear Bag Policy and metal detectors will be implemented. Enter through the main doors.

 

The Lady Bear softball team swept Hallville in game 2 yesterday, beating them 6-2 and winning the STATE SEMIFINALS for the first time in Brewer history! The girls will take on Montgomery Lake Creek in the 5A D2 State Championship game at 7 p.m. Friday, May 29 at the Red and Charline McCombs Field at UT Austin.

Lady Bears are: Sam Aguirre, Ella Glover, Haylie Jimenez, Charisma Johnson, Lilly Meller, Keira Miller, McKenna Oltrogge, Sylver Orebaugh, Ava Pena, Gianna Pleitez, Kamren Pride, Mackenzie Smethers, Cozy Tyson, Jomarys Ferrer Reyes, Abry Urias, Avery Welch and Khloe Winn.

Head Coach is Josh Richards and assistants are: Calvin Wright, Emily Berryhill and Michaela Castleberry.

Water Bottles
SEALED or EMPTY commercial (Dasani, Aquafina, Ozarka, etc.) water bottles will be allowed in the facility. Reusable water bottles such as Yeti, Hydro Flask, Swell, etc. will NOT be allowed.

Spectators can refill their water bottles with cold water from water monsters in the stadium by concessions and outside the stadium between the outfield stands.

Parking is available for purchase onsite at: East Campus Garage; Lot 110 (Comal/Manor); Lot 121 (20th/Leona); Lot 119 (MLK/Leona) and Lot 117 (Comal/MLK). 

Arrive early for parking! (Some are saying 2 hours)
Expect delays and heavy traffic around the venue.

For the first time in school history, the Brewer High School Lady Bear Softball team won the Region 1 Championship, and the Lady Bears are headed to the State Semi-Finals! The girls defeated Wylie 11-7 in Game 3, after beating Wylie 8-4 in Game 1 and losing 1-3 in Game 2. 

The Lady Bears will play Hallsville High School at Athens High School for the 5A D2 State Semifinals starting Wednesday.

Game 2 & 3: Saturday, May 23, 1 p.m. (Visitor) & immediately following if necessary (Flip at plate)

Brewer High School track members competed in the State Meet on May 15, and Aaliyah Williams took third in the 800-meter. Marteese Williams finished fourth in the 300-meter hurdles. Madison Carroll finished seventh in the 3200-meter run and ninth in the 1600-meter run.

Assistant Coaches are: Charles Weeks, Sonny Feexico, Melissa Stripling, D'Andre Payne, Nikkolas Hernandez, Meghan Brooks and Jamal Scott.

 

The Brewer High School Lady Bears Softball team defeated El Paso Parkland 16-6 in Game 2 to win the Regional Semifinal Championship on May 9. The girls will advance to the Regional Final Playoff series against Abilene Wylie starting Thursday.

All games will be played at Stephenville High School.

The Lady Bears softball team beat Colleyville Heritage 12-2 in Game 2 for the Bi-District Championship. They will play Burleson at Mansfield High School for the Area Championship.

Game times are 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29; 7 p.m. Thursday, April 30; and 7 p.m. Friday, May 1, if needed.

The Brewer High School baseball team is headed to the Bi-District Playoffs! The boys will play Argyle at Richland High School at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29; at Haltom High School at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 1; and at Haltom at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 2 (if needed). Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.

Several members of the Brewer High School track and field team medaled at the Area Meet, and they will advance to the Regional Track Meet. 

Marteese Williams is the Area Champion in the 300m hurdles, he won second place in 110m hurdles. Aaliyah Williams is the Area Champion in the 800-meter run, and she won second in the 400-meter dash.

Madison Carroll took third in the 3200-meter run and the 1600-meter run, and Nevaeh Boardingham placed third in Shot Put.

The 4x400 meter relay team of Aaliyah Wiliams, Chyler Reynolds, Dalayah Carey and Analise Johnson pladed fourth.
